The walk that almost was.
I almost cancelled the morning walk again. The mind kept naming reasons — laundry, that email I owe — and I almost listened. But I tied the shoes anyway. Halfway through the park, the tightness in my chest unclenched. It feels stupid how something so small returns me to myself.

Work is loud right now. Tomorrow’s review is sitting in the back of my throat. I don’t think I’m scared of the work. I think I’m scared of being seen doing it imperfectly.
